Clinton is a 7-8 year old Labradoodle. He was purchased from a back yard breeder as a puppy but when he was almost a year old their vet told the family Clint had severe hip dysplasia and would need two major surgeries. Knowing they could not afford such a surgery they surrendered him to a high kill shelter. Hip dysplasia is common in large breed dogs. The hip joint and the ball on the end of the hind leg do not fit together properly. Clint has had one hip repaired and now the other one is causing him great pain and he needs a foster home to help him through recovery after surgery. Clinton has attended doggy day care and loved all the other campers there. He never meets a stranger. He is one very special boy.
