Hi! My name is Cody and I am in search of my last name. Currently I live with my foster parents, and though I love them very much, the time has come for me to find my furever" family. I will be one (1) year old on August 6, xxxx. People call me a mutt. I dont know what that means, but it must be good, because they always laugh and pat me on the head when they say it. My paws and head look just like a Lab, but my body is leaner.I am a beautiful chocolate brown with one small white streak (3 or 4 hairs) at the base of my neck. Im a medium sized dog; probably two feet from floor to shoulder, and 37 pounds. I know I am a good dog, because that is what everyone says to me, good dog. I do know I still have a lot to learn. Please be patient with me. I am not always good about coming when called. I used to get hit when I came, so now I have to think about it, and sometimes I think a little too long. Just be patient with me. I am house broken. I have never had an accident in the house, but that doesnt mean that I wont. Remember that accidents are just that, accidents. Things I do really well: Ride load up and lets go. Im game for whatever you have in mind. I love to sit in your chair and cuddle with you. When you go to bed, I will come and lay my head on your shoulder and ask you to hug me for a little while. At night I vary between sleeping at your feet and sleeping in my favored nest. Right now, I like to get under the chair at the desk in my foster parents bedroom. Let me make new friends. I play well with other dogs. I also play well with kids. So far, I have had my tail pulled, my ear twisted, my eye poked, and fingers put in my mouth and, I did not respond with aggression. When I get tired of kids, I will try to go away.
