SUPER SMART, SWEET & UNIQUE! Tobey we believe is a Black Labrador Retriever/Great Dane cross, approximately 10-12 months of age, and currently about 65 pounds (and growing). Tobey could grow taller and heavier over the next year. Tobey is all black in color, and he has a wonderful, sweet, affectionate, attentive, and smart temperament, which are all great qualities of both the Labrador and the Dane. Tobey has longer legs than the average Lab, his fur is slightly shorter, ears are slightly bigger and floppy, and he wags his tail and smiles all the time. Tobey and his brother, Cooper, were dumped on a suburban corner and hung out waiting for their person(s) to come back for them, and when their person never returned, they started approaching pedestrians for attention and water as the temperature was soaring and these boys were hot and thirsty and confused. They now greatly appreciate being inside a foster home with nice people and not outside abandoned. Labs4rescue was contacted for help finding forever homes, and here they are now as: Tobey (and brother Cooper #35 also posted). Both brothers are nearly identical in size and temperament. They love to play with each other, their toys, go for walks on lead, and they both know the command to "sit." Tobey loves all people and is great with other animals too. His activity level is medium to high, he loves to play, go for walks on lead, sit by your side for pets; he's up for anything! Tobey is crate trained and house trained. The ideal home for Tobey will appreciate a slightly bigger Labbie boy, have plenty of quality time and energy for a high energy, athletic Labrador like Tobey, and most of all have a heart of gold just like Tobey.
